Transforming an idea into reality is an exhilarating part of my job. I listen carefully to my brides’ and grooms’ dreams, brainstorm with them and work around whatever challenges arise.
Here we created a modern Western world event that meshed with the couple’s traditional Persian nuptials. The bride wanted a large clear tent set in a classic, lush location. Together we scouted many scenic venues, but when the budget would not accommodate her vision, we thought outside the box – and tent – and I was able to create the picturesque ambiance her heart desired.
We chose Monaluce Winery & Estates, which provided a gorgeous sweeping lakeside landscape for the Persian cultural ceremony – fresh air openness in lieu of a clear tent. Continuing with the alfresco theme, the private reception area featured a grand balcony overlooking the vineyards. We designated this space for the dance floor and contemporary lounge seating.
Focusing on the bride’s request for an abundance of flowers, I collaborated with The Perfect Stem. Taking the dramatic hydrangea-dominant arrangements that flanked the ceremony aisle as well as the bridesmaids’ bouquets, we repurposed them during the reception as dining table centerpieces to help keep costs down while amping up and maximizing use of the floral décor.
From whisking away the newlyweds in a stylish horse-drawn carriage after declaring their “I Dos” to adding whimsical elegance with paper parasols and handmade fans that doubled as wedding programs to a magical finale with family and friends sending the lovebirds off with hundreds of sparklers ablaze, I integrated several special elements into the day to grant the bride’s wishes for a romantic, airy affair.

As a bridal stylist, I encounter many brides that have varying visions for their wedding day. If I were to define their styles, I would say the modern style incorporates a pop of color somewhere in their look, whether a bold shoe or a shimmering statement necklace. The fashion-forward style takes it up a notch by going for the glitz, the drama and that chic piece that their guests will be talking about all night long! No matter what type of bride we are referring to, the color blush is versatile for all brides…but the magic lies in how she carries that hue off on her wedding day. Every blushing bride deserves a touch of blush in her wedding day look.
A coral lip paired with blush whether it’s a shoe or your gown compliments your overall look.
Lace is one of the hottest bridal trends this summer and is being fashioned into capes and forming the most beautiful-intricate backs to this season’s most stylish wedding gowns.
Personalize your look with a girl’s best friend…Diamonds! Get the diamond look with this amazing Otazu Silver Pearl and Swarovski crystal bib necklace by Max&Chloe, or these Ann Taylor Circular stone drop earrings.
Finish your look with light & airy makeup, a classy chignon and soft birdcage veil. Accessorize your look to fit your personality and put fashion first. This is your day to be beautiful!
Held earlier this month, our first ever Wedding Talk event was absolutely fabulous! The truly intimate, entirely interactive and completely innovative bridal show was hosted in the Grand Ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta and provided engaged couples exclusive face time with the area’s top wedding professionals.
This new, more personal approach to the traditional massive bridal convention format provided a unique opportunity for couples heading down the aisle to connect with some of the most talented vendors in Atlanta, hear their expert advice, learn about trends, find inspiration, participate in Q-&-A sessions, and in many cases, experience their stellar services and sample their incredible creations firsthand!
With eye candy in every direction and the attention to detail brides and grooms can expect to receive at their own weddings, the premier wedding specialists showcased at the Wedding Talk presented their range of offerings in four different settings. For example, a clean, crisp snowy white lounge-inspired section included health and wellness providers. A black-and-silver Great Gatsby vignette accommodated many groom-related areas, such as jewelry design and attire consulting. An upscale table design dressed in classic black-and-white featured an array of elegant flatware, glassware, China and linen rentals, gorgeous floral arrangements and other décor options. And an unforgettable mock ceremony section was created with acrylic chairs, where a spectacular cake demo took place and a photographer and a videographer conveyed the dos and don’ts of finding the right company to capture those once-in-a-lifetime memories.
For three extraordinary hours, brides and grooms were educated, entertained and indulged in this one-of-a-kind environment. We can’t wait to host the next Wedding Talk this coming Fall.

It is always exciting to be featured in print, and our recent opulent jewel-toned, romance-inspired photo shoot is our latest feature in the local Oh Brides Magazine, out on the newsstands now! We were thrilled at the opportunity to conceptualize this lavish look, and we are delighted to celebrate and show off the collaboration of my top vendors.
When I was approached to create the concept and outline of the overall look, I immediately commissioned the exceptionally talented wedding professionals I work with frequently, knowing they would help me deliver a swoon-worthy vignette.
I wanted to venture outside Atlanta and create a “local destination” option so I turned to The Mansion on Forsyth Park, a stunning facility in Savannah, Ga. I just adore how the event space’s grand statues and dramatic lighting contribute to the overall modern yet regal look.
Collaborating with I Do Linens, I was inspired by the navy patterned sequin table covering. I knew its intense sapphire hue would ensure the color-rich accents popped, from the coral napkins to the multi-hued roses and hydrangea floral arrangement from Perfect Petals Design Group.
Texture was my must-have for this concept, and I incorporated it every element possible, including the striking amethyst- and lapis-colored menus created by Sandi Spells Design, which are wrapped in a heavenly velvet, as well as Sweet Seats’ Chaivari chairs, which are draped in gold Dupioni silk. The gold-accented china, flatware and crystal from Event Rentals Unlimited were the perfect complements to this tablescape and completed the overall look. We can’t forget one of the most important contributors who made our feature possible, Javon Longieliere Photography. This amazing collaboration wouldn’t have been featured without his dynamic images.
